Need Pricing Help For A 997s

Aloha from Maui. Looking at an 06 Carrera S. There is only 3000 miles on the car. Car is fully loaded with sports package, ceramic brakes and more. Its black. I will know more on tuesday when I test drive and look it over. Do you think $85,000 is a good buy?

Without crunching number, I would tend to say no - you could get a better deal.

My '07 came with about $12k in options and with discount, stickered at around $88.5k (from ~$94k). I would expect to pay significantly less for an '06 - expecially a used one.

That's the thing. Living on Maui does not offer choices. Honolulu Porsche wants an arm and a leg. My last car was a 996 I bought in the mainland but took forever to come to Maui. I might be paying a little more but there are hardly any porsches here on Maui.

Ahhh...good point. Didn't think about that. Have you checked kbb.com info, since that is likely what they paid for the car at trade-in? It might give you some ideas as to what your bargaining range might be.
