996 Turbo Twist Wheels????

Guys - will a set of 03' 996 Turbo Twist (stock wheels 18") fit on a 997 Carrera? I was wondering if they will work as track wheels?

please advise

If the car is a "widebody" 997, your standard offsets for the front is 57mm and 51mm for the rear. If it is a standard "narrow" 997 the the fronts are still 57mm but the rears are now 67mm.

The 996tt rear offset is 45mm and 50mm for the front.

The fronts should work with a small spacer (7mm or less). To use the 996tt rears for a "wide" body 997 may work due to the wheel only adding 6mm (around 1/4") to the overall width per side.

996tt rears on a "narrow" 997 will add close to 1" or 22mm to the overall width per side. I don't believe even fender rolling and aggressive camber settings will make these fit.

Hope this helps!
