Spot Free Water Conditioners?

I am looking at portable spotless water conditioners. I HATE water spots and my boat is large and in the Florida hot sun I can't dry it before it starts to spot's...smae for my black BMW X5 and C2S.

Which would you get?

www.crspotless.com
www.spotfreeh20.com

I am leaning towards the spotfreeh20 model because for $375 I get 1000 gallons of use before a recharge. The recharge is flushing the unit backwards with Salt Brine and Water. The crspotless model comes on a handy cart for $349 but you only get 100 gallons of water and have to spend money on there recharging kit.

Anyone here have any experience with these products? Which would you choose and why. They are confusing on which works better.

thanks, Mike

Have you looked into portable deionized water filtration units ? It may be cost prohibitive and time consuming for your boat, depending on size of vessel, but you can always just use it for a quick rinse if water spots are your only objetive. But at 800gal before a regeneration is necessary, you could rinse your boat and everything else for quite a while, depending on your particular level of OCD

I have the CR spotless. Used it 3x now it sits in the corner of the garage. It did not work as advertised, I still had spots. Would say it reduced 80% of water spotting. But I want zero water spots so I towel dry as I did in the past. This was on a silver car. On black the results were not acceptable at all.

Dr. T is infamous around these parts
I got the CR Spotless a couple of months ago and love it. It works better than I expected. No spots on silver, dark gray, or black. The windows also dry spotlessly. gmoney.....is it water spotting you are seeing or possibly dust settling on the surface before it's dry?

I bought a CR spotless as well I had major water spots before with my water. The thing works amazing! GMoney did you use a Washer/Dryer hose to slow the water flow down? The normal capacity size works just fine. I added the cart too.

I dont think it was dust. I also plugged in and tested the filters and they are fine. This is washing with CR water in the bucket + zaino car wash and rinsing with the CR too.

I usedthe smallest washer / hole provided (crappy flow, another issue I had with it but I accept that).

My brother had a built in water system at his condo, two BIG stubby filter housings, that one worked magic.
