Multifunction Wheel and RTFM

I don't know how many of you guys have multifunction steering wheels but it took me almost a year and 5k miles to figure out that you can change tracks and just about anything else with it. I never read the manual and it frustrated me that you couldn't do much other than change the volume. What I didn't realize is that if you put the PCM in folder selection mode, you can scroll and select folders. If you put the PCM in track selection, you can scroll and select tracks. Did you guys already know this?

Yeah - I just realized this as well. I am happy that I selected the MF wheel. Not only does it look better than the stock one IMO, it does have some good functionality. Sure it could be better, but it does what I expected and looks good too

Still new to me with just over four weeks past since collection. The PCM manual was bed-time reading for first few days and spent quite a long time just sitting in the car experimenting with menus etc. I found the time-out function an irritating interuption to my learning process but appreciate the need to protect the battery.

I must try the folder and track selection, thanks for the tip.

I realize this with in a week of getting my car but,I think it's take to long to go threw the menu. I just push one button on the PCM to do the samething .

I'm one of those who plays with every button and yes, have been using the multifunction steering wheel to zoom in and out of maps, scrolling through phone books, changing tracks.

That being said, I find that if you want to random skip to the next song, you have to press the right arrow key on PCM instead.
