On a recent visit to the local Porsche dealer several Porsche NA reps were there. I had gone to the dealer to place a deposit on the next generation turbo because I had seen that many of you had already done so. The Porsche reps overheard my conversation regarding a deposit and laughed. According to them, the next generation turbo is 4 years away and although they didn't say so, I had the impression that it would not be a 997 turbo but rather a 998. I put a deposit down anyway and I'm the first in line.
