To answer some questions the size is 19x9 & 19x12. Front wheels weigh 16.6 and rear wheels weigh 19.7 on my scale. The wheels catagorically will not shatter on impact as I know this first hand after hitting the turn 3 wall at Laguna Seca last year in my GT3 at over 100 mph. They are three times stronger than aluminum and they are built with 27 layers of CF and resin.
Build times have been adjusted and they take about 8 weeks to build we had some human error on the first set of wheels that cused the problem but now all wheels are fitted with tires before they are shipped.
The car looks great Russ please send me some good shots for the website.

So ive read somewhere that there should be quite a difference in acceleration as well as improved handling. Do you feel any seat of the pants difference??? Losing all that unsprung weight should help with straight line speed, no? BTW SICKEST 997 EVER!!!!! LOVE IT!!!
Dymag
Yes, the wheels in 18" fit over PCCB. I had them on my 2004 GT3 and I just did a 997 in 18" as well.
As for the brittelness THEY ARE NOT!!!!!
IF THERE IS IMPACT THE CF WEBBING IS MORE FLEXIBLE AND MOVES FROM SIDE TO SIDE LIKE THE WEBBING IN AN OLD LAW CHAIR.
Please know that this wheel passed the TUV test as well as the JWL,DOT and two idependent test from General Motors in the Corvette and Caddilac divisions. The GM test was geared toward street use and long term durability. As it stands now Koenigsegg,Ascari,Mosler & Callaway are using the Carbon Fiber Magnesium wheel as OE application and it has passed independent testing by all of these car manufacturers.
As for the feeling you will not do another mod to your car that you can feel as much so fast. The Braking,Handeling and acceleration are a huge difference and the car drives and turns with very little steering input , like driving the car with two fingers.

Good Lord! How did I miss this thread!!! Those are truly amazing wheels my friend. Love them. Man, just when I thought you couldn't make the Mexico Blue 997 any sexier, you go out there and REDEEM yourself!
