I like the front bumper styling. Not so sure about the droop in the tail lights.

I will keep my 06 C2S until Porsche comes out with a F1 clutchless style transmission and more HP.

 

I think I'll be happy with my Carrera S, much like I'd be happy if I owned a 993 from new.

 

Meh, what's wrong with the current 997? Don't really care for the new tailight shape of front bumper. Why fix it if it ain't broke?

 

Agreed. If this is what I had to choose from, I would have bought a Cayman or RS4 instead.

 

I wonder what we will all say when it comes out and gets favorable reviews and is faster and handles better. What did the guys who had the 2001 996 say when the face lifted 2002 came out??

I am underwhelmed by the changes.

 

I like the front......take the camo tape off the turn sig / running light strip (as DJ did) and you definately have 993.
I am having a hard time warming up to the droop lights in back.

To answer the question about what to do when the 996 got facelifted, I would have had a 993 instead. As much as I like the C4S, TT, and GT3, the 996 doesn't do it for me.

 

Overall, I like it alot. Is that color Lapis?
