Been good Mister PINK. How have you been? I haven't had the car out for about 6 weeks now. Looking forward to upcoming Autocross and D/E events. Just give the word on Captree or maybe a local cruise. I'll be there.

It's funny how quickly you'll get used to the power. I'm already pricing TT cabs

So crazy, isn't it? Me too, dog. I am so used to it now, I have been looking Turbos too (not cabs) to do one of the Evo 600 or 700HP (or whatever they are) kits. Then again, I also feel like I want AWD now... I get white knuckles on mountain roads when I throttle too early. Scary. Anyways, I track it on the 12th. We'll see how that goes.

I was at RPM on Saturday a couple of weeks ago when it looked like the car was getting a final shakedown. It is really good-looking and sounds good as well. The RPM guys seem like a really nice bunch and are willing to do what it takes to satisfy the customer. I'll be doing my regular service over there from now on. Best of luck with the car.

Who has 700HP? Nyseal, Russ, 68Speedstr, myself, and some others have about 520 or so I think. NYSeal, I was JUST in Manhattan. I didn't know about you. I would have loved to get a friendly run to around 120 from 0 to see really what the deal of 2WD vs AWD is. That would have been good for all of us to see. Does the AWD help the launch enough and/or does the increased power leave less negative impact on the spool up speeds or is the RWD still faster? Would be great to know. Let us know if you ever run a car set up like yours with RWD.....

considering a lot of the faster 1/4 mile TT guys are disconnecting the front driveshaft, i would guess that RWD is the way to go. less weight, less parasitic drivetrain loss, easier launches, etc...

Congrats on the SC man. It looks bad ***. I just bought my '03 TT but I was seriously considering an '05 997S and then sending it out to EVOMS. I just got a helluva deal on the 996tt and kinda liked the exterior of it a little better than the 997S. Definately like the interior of the 997 better though. I figured I couldn't go wrong in either case. I'll anxiously await a dyno on your new beast.
