Road Bike in A 997 - how easy is the fit (Targe or Coupe)

Thinking of a 997 for a daily driver - caveat is I need to get my road bike in it -- either thru the rear with a targa or side door - I expect to take the wheels off (maybe just the front hopefully), but is anyone doing this?

TIA

i really don't see this as being a realistic endeavor. yes, i am a cyclist but would/could never see making this happen (regularly) without very negative repercussions (front chain rings, forks, pedals....chain....).

roof rack? yes....an entirely different story!

Not worried too much re: front chain rings, forks, pedals, and chain issues as I would tarp it fast. Any Targa thoughts? (pardon my typo)

Had a Pepper but as good as they are, nothing beats a low center of gravity.

TAnthony, I looked at your pictures of your silver 997 and it's beautiful.

Can you please tell me what "blue" the leather is??

Thanks much.

Should've kept it! Sorry - I meant get one in addition to your 911! I'm in Connecticut and need 2 cars.... I cycle alot and well, I'm not going to toss the TREK in the C2.... or sit in the seat with my nasty *** bibs!

Hey - Actually, you MAY be able to fit a "Ritchey Breakaway" bike - check them out, they fit into a suitcase the size of the wheel. Or, get the dreaded rack.... at least it pops on and off pretty quickly from wha the dealer said.

I can't remember the actual name of the blue, but its the stock blue for 997 2007.... not special ordered...

Thanks for the compliments by the way... not many people dig the blue interiors.... I love it - a little snazzier than black or tan or grey... but not crazy.

Does "Sea Blue" sound correct?

I am about to order with either black or midnight blue exterior, and am having difficulty deciding on an appropriate interior color.

What is the exterior color you've decided upon for which model?

If it were my car, with a blue exterior I would choose the following interior colors in order: Tan, Black, Grey, Red - not blue....
