Expect hp increase (~15 hp for the Carrera S), PDK as an option, along with revised intakes and LED taillights. Pano mentions a few of these things.

PDK finally.
I hope it can support more HP than a tip tranny

Porsche Doppel-Kopplung (Porsche double clutch) transmission, like DSG. Porsche actually did the engineering on it way back when (during the 80s), but hadn't applied it to road cars.

I love the transmission in my A3 - if I had a choice, I would get one in a 911 only if I also had a manual one. In a track car like a GT3, it would be a must - so much faster than a manual.

Any idea of the DFI aspect of the engine is something that could be added to an existing car? I don't know much about internals, just wondering if it's a different type of fuel injector that could be swapped out. It's an interesting combination... 15 HP isn't worth much, but add to that 15% better economy... Not so much for saving gas, but for range on the highway and especially on the track. If I could go from 6 MPG to 7 I could avoid having to go get gas during a track event
