Jason, this is a mod I have not seen, as I too have just purchased a new 997 C4S. Would love to see some before and after pics on the clear corners when you do them. Please keep us posted.

PS, I also had the clear bra put on (black exterior paint), and think it looks great considering.

Illinicane, are you sure you haven't seen the clear corner reflectors before? i ask only because everyone on this board has them. lol i guess technically they're called "clear sidemarkers." here's a link to Eric the Plug Guy's site, bumperplugs.com. They're one of the board sponsors. if you scroll down a tad on this link you'll see what i'm talking about. mine should arrive today. heck, even my dealer recommended them. lol http://www.bumperplugs.com/BPindex.html

i'll post some daytime pics as soon as i get the time to install those bad boys.

yep, clear bra a must... i HATE rock chips.

We already begain modding a few of the new 997's for clients and I can tell you those front corners, fogs and even the headlights are EASY to remove - WOW, almost too easy for thieves!

Yes do the clear corner mod but LED bulbs seem to trigger the onboard computer so you gotta be sure you have the load correct.

There are many ways to spec out the interior of the car and you definitely went for the Mature, grown-up look

I'm going the young, sporty route still....hehehe

thanks guys!! i absolutely LOVE this car! i installed the clear bulbs and clear corners a few days ago... man what a HUGE difference that makes.

yep, lights and all are REALLY easy to remove. took me a total of like 10 minutes to do both corners. also, in the leather case that has all the manuals, Porsche provides this little credit card thing specifically for removing the fogs. Porsche is somethin' else.

P.S. Yo Mitch... wassup!!

Looks great! Getting black mats is a great idea and I plan on doing the same in the near future. How can you tell if the interior is sand beige vs natural leather? I bought my C2S used and I think it is sand beige, but the color looks identical to the ones in your pics, so makes me very curious.
