are the coilovers that much better than just lowering the car? And how hard is it to adjust the height of the car? Is there something that can be done with a switch or do you have to manually adjust each corner?
Yes coilovers are much better than just lowering a car with springs.
In fact most if not all factory dampers( shocks) are not designed to work with a lowering spring and will often fail prematurely.
A good quality coil over will offer you a compliant ride and performance you are looking for.
On the PSS9 kit each corner is manually adjusted to raise and lower ride height. The dampening will be adjusted just the same way it is done now with the button on the dash.
