Tinting a Targa?

I am REALLY close to pulling the trigger on a Targa in Midnight Blue (see photo below).

Does anyone have photos of the new Targa that that been tastefully tinted? I was thinking somewhere in the 50% range for the windows, and 20-30% for the top w/ a huper optik tint.

Any opinions/photos are greatly appreciated.

I am more concerned about how tinting will look on the Targa in contrast with everything else that is going on - as the cab is predominantly glass. I assume that i should use a lighter grade tint on the top, since when it is open the glass is effectively doubled up.

If all goes well i'll be picking it up this Friday or Saturday. I will post photos as soon as i get them...

I don't have my car yet...but I too have been thinking about the tint. I agree the top should be a bit lighter. question; "what is huper optik tint"???

Huper Optik is a brand of tint - it is ceramic based and in my opinion worth the few extra $$ it costs over the others.

go see matt at detailing dynamics, they did my midnight blue 997s last year. they can even email you lots of other cars that they have done. I know your concerns about too much tint, they did a real nice job on mine. and the clear bra also
