The stock 997S sounds better than a stock M3 did (which sounded like ***...pissed off weed whacker), but the stock S is to tame.

Hey Dave, I live out in the 951 area. We should me at a cars and coffee meet in Irvine one Saturday morning and you can hear my car. I really think that the exhaust is worth the wait if you loved the Borla on you M3 because it really does have a unique growl to it. 60-90 days is a little long, but they had my car for longer than that doing R&D. So if i can wait I definitely think you could!

Couple of questions man.

Does the Borla exhaust allow for the use of OEM non-S tips to be used? And where did you get that 911 emblem? That emblem is NICE... And you you know what type of paint they used for your calipers, and what type of process they used to apply the paint?

Nice car bro!

It's really deep and throaty and has a real sweet growl. I personally think its the best sounding exhaust and definitely worth the wait. Drone is minimal and only in some low RPM's. The brakes are painted Lambo yellow from F1 Motorsports in Hollywood off the Lankershim exit by Universal Studios.

V35,
Your exhaust is awesome! Your system sounds like my Fabspeed. I bet you don't listen to the Bose system anymore like me. Wait till you open it up in a tunnel with windows & sunroof open. Put a towel under your butt or diapers when you do!

Nice car bro!
I believe the Borla will come with several options for tips and will be welded on the exhast already unlike the other setups out there that use interchangable tips or don't come with any at all. I found the emblem on ebay, but its rarely ever on there in the chrome finish. I've seen it online but it was 150.00. I'm really not sure about the whole process on the calipers, however they are holding up great.

Trust me, everytime I see a tunnel, windows go down, and its full throttle all the way through gears 2-3.

Here's another clip of the Borla in 1st gear. It's not that clear, but it should give an idea of how this exhaust sounds at take off.

Thumbs up

Very nice job...I'd lose all those stickers on the rear window though.
