this took place on benedict canyon, we didnt get to run side by side b/c its a 2 lane 2 way road. i realized pretty quick that he didnt know how to properly drive so i backed off in the corners but we did a couple of 30-40---75-80 and it was dead even, i was very surprised, i expected to get beat from a roll, especially since i started a little off my power band (in 2nd) and the vette has 400lb ft of tq and less weight. maybe it was a 4 speed auto, maybe he didnt know how to shift or hopefully my car is a factory freak

Nice run, I believe it, those cars are not as fast as they should be. I had a c5 Z06 and it was faster then a C6. You would take a convertable auto thats forsure.

thank you, the only reasonable person in the 997section (at least thats what it seems like), ive been told that also. the c5 z06's are faster than stock c6's. i would to run a c6 from 0 to 150+, i think our gearing and aero will/does help

 

If its a 1/4 mile race, the 997S is more likely to win, if its a highway roll, honeslty I think its a good race.
