Oh man, I feel for you. All it takes is "ONCE". Once with the clutch, once with a miss-shift, once w/ the front spltter down a steep driveway, once with the.... you get my meaning...

She looks worth it though; best of luck!

I was lucky enough to come to an understanding with my wife;
she understands that she will NEVER drive my GT3

Haha, good one. This car was a 20 yr dream for me, but now that I have it I do realize that it's no fun if you can't share. I am already looking at the GT3 forums drooling over my 2nd porsche, which will probably be 10 yrs away if im lucky. BTW how do you like your gt3.

I came to my GT3 from a base 997 actually. I think that if I started with a 997S to begin with, I probably would have done a few upgrades and been done with it.

With my base 997 I would have spent alot of dough to get it where I wanted it, and then I got an opportunity to drive a 996 Gt3....... case closed!

Took less then a month, now I've got one in the garage. Would've loved to have the 997 GT3, but it's just out of reach for me at the moment.

I think you're 997S is awesome; definitely a keeper. Enjoy it!!

Thanks for your kind words. I am sure I feel like 90% of the people on this forum: like a little kid. My wife actually has to remind me to come inside the house or I would just stay in the garage overnight. I think it's sad for the people who have 2344223234 dollars and just go a porsche bc they have money. I waited 20 yrs for this and I appreciate it so much.

Me too. My wife INSISTED on this car for the steering wheel alone. She basically told me to buy this car. Guess, I'm lucky.

Go compare the steering wheel to the standard circular one. This looks so much sportier.
