GMG / Lucent Motors
Guys
Thanks for the kind words.
We have been a supporter of 6speed for a few years now and the members of 6speed have not only become customers but good friends.
I know that we try and raise the bar in terms of the facility we have, customer service, quality of work, the staff and products that we deliver to you the clients.
Our techs have over 30 years of combined experiance and are Factory trained from Porsche and Ferrari in addition the factory training they have years of aftermarket performance tuning experiance. Our racing department staff has been involved in everything from ALMS, IMSA, Grand Am Cup, JGTC, Speed GT and Speed Touring for over 20 years and the members have been top level championship wining teams. From the products we sell to the services we offer, be it routine maintenance, performance tuning or racing we try and offer you the best.
You all have your favorties whether it's GMG, Lucent or any other company. Each company offers different services and levels of work for its customer's.
Many of you have used both GMG and Lucent for work in the past and have been equally satisfied.
As in any business sometimes there are problems and clients aren't always satisfied. I can assure you that we (GMG) will do everything in our power to correct a problem if you, as a customer are not happy with products or services recieved at GMG. All you have to do is let us know what the problem is. I along with James are reachable via telephone or email 7 days a week. Most of you even have my cell number.
Often times people will get on a forum and start bashing a company without speaking to the company about the problem directly. Anyone who has been in business has had to deal with it in some manner. A lot of anger and frustration can be avoided on everyone's part if there is some sort of communication. This only creates a bad situation for the consumer and the business itself, especially when a vendor hears about it from another consumer.
I hope that clears up some questions, I am sure Arling will agree on some of my points as will other sponsors who run reputable companies.
As always thanks for your continued support throughout the years.

What are you looking for...
I cant comment on Lucent, because I have not visited their shop, and their website is down, and under construction.
Regarding GMG. I have been to their shop. It truly is the nicest shop West of the Mississippi. The place is immaculate. 15,000 sq feet of apoxy flooring with 8 lifts. Its car Mecca. Their head mechanics are FACTORY trained. Their techs are FIRST RATE. GMG also has one of the best alignment machines produced, as well as all of the latest diagnostic equipment for Porsche, Ferrari, Bentley, Mercedes, Audi, and Lambo.
Their work is first rate.
Do your homework when selecting a shop to perform work on your exotic. If you needed a heart transplant, would you go to the BEST surgeon, or would you go to the cheapest surgeon???
Go visit each shop. And whatever you do, dont make your decision based on price. You should make your decision based on competence and skill level, customer service, reputation, and of course, the nature of the service.
One last note. GMG does compete at the pinnacle of racing, with their 997 GT3 Cup Car, in World Challenge, as well as supporting two customer's 997's in IMSA's Porsche Cup. Racing is all about preparation, precision, and knowledge. GMG combines all three, and in doing so, has made me a customer for life.
