whats the widest you can go on the back on a carrera? not an S...just a regular with 19"....

S or non S is the same...the GT3 runs a 12" wide rim out back, but that is seriously stretching even a 305 tire out back. The GT3 gets away with it for the fact it is running Mich PSC's. 11.5' wide out back is probably the widest practical rim width.

No - the C4, Targa, TT and GT3RS are widebodies - S has nothing to do with width.

 

I have 11.5 " champion RG5's with 305 PS2's on my 997S with no clearance problems.

 

You can get the C2 with Carrera Sport (11.5 x 19) with 305/30 mounted - you just need to make sure you get the correct offset for the narrowbody - usually about 67mm

 

I've mounted 305 on my 997 C2' Sportsdesgin Wheels. Looks, feels, handles great!

 

I run 11.5 x 19 Champion wheels with 305/30 Michelin Sports. Like a glove!

 

20 x 11.5 with 305s, and seriously lowered, with no rubbing.

 

also running 305's in the rear on 19X11's. no problems, rides great, and looks nice and fat on the wheel. a pretty little bleb that protects the rim and matches the way the front tire sidewalls look. perfect imho.
