I too have the comment regarding 'heated seats' in AZ as well as the input to drop the CD Changer in favor of an aftermarket IPOD adapter. Virually unlimited song selection w/ a 30 or 80 gbyte IPOD. Better sound quality as well.
Best of Luck!

Regarding the CD changer, I am not yet into the Ipod thing, but I may get there before long, and if I do and take the time to load all my music on one, I presume I can always remove the changer, and write off the ~$600 charge.
It seems there are still questions as to wheter or not there is really a suitable aftermarket Ipod connection for these carsm but I don't want to start that discussion here, however if anyone cares to post a link to the latest hot set up on them, please post the link and I/ll go to it.
I know some cars come with the connection and Bluetooth, and Porsche is way behind the times on that technology. Wish they'd "get with it" soon.

re: IPOD adapter info.
Just do a search on Dension or Dension Gateway 500. I've had one in my 997S since March. Granted the initial firmware was weak to say the least. The latest offering (v2.02) is a giant step forward. At less than $500 it's a better solution (IMHO) than the CD changer. If you're a DIY'r it's a snap to install it.
Whatever direction you go I envy your interior upgrades. I've got the SS Sills in my car and they look just great. I also did a Schild Trunk Liner that really 'finishes off' the lid under cover and protects it from any loose cargo. I didn't know the factory offered a 'trunk lid liner'. Good move!
