I've heard the cheap imported eBay short shift kits are just that . . . Cheap.

I hear they are tough shifting and very 'notchy' w/ respect to movement (not smooth). The nylon or teflon bushing is the key to smooth operation.

I would only go w/ the Porsche or B/W versions.
