Need best rotors for track use!!!
I've replaced my front rotors and calipers with Brembo six piston calipers and their 380mm two piece rotors with steel braided lines all around. Only one track event on them so far, so I can't comment on longevity. Their performance is nothing short of phenomenal. A more expensive option than just rotors, but much less expensive than PCCB's with significant weight savings over stock.

Just got this from PFC -- They have the new 2-piece floating Direct Drive rotors for the 997S on the market. Only the fronts are available now, I asked when the rears would be out -- will post when I know more.
We currently make front rotors for the Carrera S 997. The part
number you need is 318.067.87(left) and 318.067.88(right).

I warped the heck out of my stock rotors this past weekend at the 2 day Sebring event. Went through pads too. Luckly Bob with Dave Whites Racing was there with the crew and truck and he put new Pagid yellows on the front and wow could I brake way later. I will probably just put a new set of stock 997S rotors on the front.
I need to get a set of track tires and wheels. I need to find some inexpensive 18" wheels and put some PS cups or Toyo RA1's on for the weekends I drive over to the track.
I'd post of cool wheel off the ground pics on this site if it would let me.
see ya, Mike
