What do you think my VERY modified 997S is worth?

I'll be in Knox in the next month, I'm pretty sure. PM me your phone number and we'll meet out on the strip or something.
Cool?

Would I be getting? No. Would I be wanting to get, yeah. They have had it "Sold" for at least a month, and it's just sitting there. Where is this guy? I have both my 911 and my Audi Q7 SUV there while I am in Amsterdam getting service done and I see it all the time.
I'd love to meet up with you sometime. PM me.
Later.

Seriously, I know all the stuff about modding and resale. Been there before. But WOW. I have like $60k in mods on a $94k sticker car! Whew. Not saying anyone's wrong at all. Just... WOW.

I hope its worth a lot! I've had this discussion with myself a bunch of times, usually while lusting for something new. Realizing what I'd expect to get in a resale and my sunk cost to this point has helped me dicide to keep it. What really made the difference was tracking the car and realizing how f.....ing fast it is. I'm going to do a few more performance focused mods over the next several months (chasis, LSD, clutch & flywheel) as well as some cosmetic and interior stuff and continue to enjoy it. It is still a much more capable car than its driver!

It's funny how things work .
With a new car, we spend a fortune tearing out the factory equipment to "improve" it , and as the car gets older, we spend a fortune trying to restore it back to "original" condition. Lol

This is exactly what I'm talking about too. Tracking the car gets me giddy. It's amazing. Now I just need to do some focused things. I'm running well with the GT3s, with them being better drivers than me. I just kill them on the straights. They're all like, 'huh?'
Anyway, I'm thinking of going with the cage and stuff. What LSD and clutch are you thinking? I need a clutch bad. I just replaced my engine mounts too.

Talk to Fabryce at GMG. Their roll bar I had powder coated seal grey and they have a spring loaded Sachs clutch and lightened flywheel kit and a very reasonably priced LSD. My car is at Imagine for the full GT3 chasis treatment with parts and specs from GMG.

Hey,
I know exactly how you feel...I had my S4 more modified than I'd ever expect it to be..>I had it that way since probably the 3 month I had it, completely finished. I loved it and felt extremely proud and differenent(unique) when I was driving it. It soon came where I started seing more of my car running around or at least the A4's and got a little bored with it..To anyone else the car is a gem, but to me I am bored with it..I was going to supercharge it and do the brakes, etc..etc..But then I got to thinking what else do I like..I found the 997 and found another animal that I want to hook up..
I guess where I am going is that once you are bored, you are bored. To everyone else you might have a ferrari but a car is a car and if you drive it everyday, well you get tired of it..Compare to life and a girlfriend..If you are not getting married to it, and its been long enough--you might as well move on to bigger and better or at least new to find out what the grass is doing on the other side of the fence...You know if you really want you could go back you can
I think I always have to feel like I do now, excited about the future plans of what I am going to do to it and or what its going to be like when I am done with the car. Once that feeling is gone or not as strong I move on...
Keep drinking right!
