Fabspeed 997S Exhaust/Tip Install - Help!

I just received my Fabspeed 997S exhaust and Fabspeed 997S tips. Just pulled everything out of the box. The tips have two rings inside the tubing, an outside thin ring, and an inside, larger ring. It doesn’t look like there is any way the exhaust pipes are going to fit with the inside ring in, but when you remove it, the clamp is too loose. Do I leave the inside ring in? If so, any tips (no pun intended!) on getting the exhaust into the tip? Any thoughts are much appreciated!
