I go back and forth over the GWB with no plate all the time. Port Authority hassles you a lot less for that stuff, it's usually MTA where you get the 3rd degree about it.

Well, I haven't been on it with my car lately, I usually ride it on the bike. That said, I don't ride roads with giant potholes on the bike, so it's in pretty good shape. Just stick near the back and watch other people bottom out first. It's not a middle of nowhere dirt road or anything, it's a fully-paved, 2-lane road in a state park.

Edit: Just because I care, I'll take a spin up there now and uh, "test" the road out for you.

I know how that is, I had a very long weekend last weekend. I showed up at raclaim's house on 2 hours of sleep, but it was still a blast! It's right on the other side of the GWB, it's really easy to get to from Queens. Take the Hudson Terrace exit (the second one, it comes up really quickly), make a right onto River Road, and it will be about 2 miles down on your left in the complex with the Pathmark and Target.

You can get a coffee, you'll be fine.

Hope to see you there!

What speed did he write you for? 100 in a 55 is 11 points in NY.
