Hello long time lurker (since funcarsonline) in this forum. Im thinking about a 997 targa, my questions are.....

1. about the targa roof, im concern about when it rains or when you wash your car, just how tight is the roof?

2. im betting a black on black and thinking about tinting the windows, with that being said, if you slide the roof back and with the tinted back window, i know it will propably hard to see, do you recommend me tinting the windows?

1. Its very tight, you should have no worries

2. I dont think there is a need to tint plus your rear vision will already be 1/3 blocked by the roof motor, just my opinion. Also, I would consider a lighter interior to off set the black, I have sand biege and it looks great. I think natural brown would look good too. That said, you could do much worse than black on black.

Have you seen the terracotta interior on a red car? That may be another option...

 

Top seems very tight after almost one year. The tinit may make it very hard to see out the back window. Occasionally on a short trip I have left the shade over the top and I for one would not like to drive that way all the time. Try it and see.
