May sell the 997C2S..HOW MUCH?

Hate the thought of parting with it but a bun is in the oven and I need 4 doors soon. I have an '05 silver/blk (all leather) with 26,000 miles on it. The car is in excellent shape with new rear tires and all the major options except the ceramic brakes. MSRP was 93,500 and I am in NYC. I will be trading for an RS4 or M5 but dealers are giving me stupid lowball bids on the car.

Any thoughts appreciated?

I am, or was, in the same situation. My '05 base 997 was sold in May of this year for $59k with about 34,000 miles. The MSRP was $84K and had some upgrades on it. See my signature. Went for an M5 since I needed more space for the baby as well. Just be prepared... while the M5 is a beast of a car, I miss the 911 so much.

I am kinda leaning toward the RS4 as it is a bit tighter than the M5 (which is a better touring sedan). Curious if you sold your P car to a dealer or on your own? And yes, I will dearly miss the Porsche.

I went for the M5 because I thought the RS4 was too small. I sold the car at a used exotic car dealership on consignment here in Maryland. Sounds like a paradox, I know, but they actually move a lot of cars. My take was $57K but they sold it for $59K. I saw some launch cars sell for about $67K. Also, you could check the Manheim auction prices. Someone here might have access. Good luck.
