Just finished her
I dont know if you're trying to be funny about the paint job, but its already won 3 prizes for best paint in local shows... It took me 2 attempts to get it right... that and hours wetsanding
no, I wasnt' trying to be funny. it looks really good. It's clean and simple. We have a Coastal Carliona Covtte show every year here. maybe you can come next time.
P.S. that was the only moving smiling face.
Thats awesome! Me and my son restored my 1967 L88 corvette ourselves as well, and it is rewarding and something you can always look back at and have good memories of! Good Job!
L88... If in not mistaken those things go for big money now. I saw one going for $200,000 in a non auction type sale. I would love to restore a 1967 with a 427 in it. I love those cars
Well the 67 L88 is worth a little more than that, they only made 20 copies in 1967. I have turned down 700k for mine and at Russo Steele this past January someone else turned down 1.2 million for theirs! The one you saw for 200k was probably a clone? Here are a couple pictures of the one I restored with my son. Enjoy!
