I saw this last week and it's a pretty slick looking concept. Hard to believe it's worth that much, but I suppose if it's a complete one off and the only one left in existence, it's worth quite a bit.
That car is right in my town!! I never would have believed it. I wonder if the sold it or not? Did you see the retarded low offers on the car, thats just insulting. Im going on Thursday to see if it is still there.

The funny thing is, the first thing I thought of, really, was... an Opel GT.
So I Googled the Opel and you know, the original Opel GT which looks a lot like the Banshee, was created in 1962. Here's a picture of one with a Vett of all things, right behind it:

When I was living in S.F./Richmond district, I had a neighbor that owned a yellow one. Always thought they looked rather cute, like a baby Vette, with a Lotus Elan wheelbase. I didn't know much about them at the time so I just thought it looked kinda cool (back when Dune Buggy's were cool.
