What type of headers, exhaust and tune did you get? And long have you had it on the car? Thanks

I had Kooks headers and Mopar exhaust, with mopar CAI and B&G tune. The headers were the biggest difference maker. The CAI probably did nothing, but sounded pretty sweet at WOT. I had the set-up on my car from 3500 miles, and then sold the car back in November with 10,000 miles. Never had one problem, except for the CEL remained on due to the headers. Not a big deal to me, especially not with the enhanced sound and performance.

You know if there's an aftermarket lowering kit for this car yet?

Nope, at least not that I am aware of. There was a shop out of SoCAl that was supposedly custom making springs.....E&C, don't know if that ever happened. It would be nice if they came out with coil-overs for these rigs, but might be too small of a market.

Yeah I am real surprised to find there's such a small aftermarket for our cars.
I can't even find good wheels for mine. Oh well....

Yeah, I had talked with HRE about building a set of 22"s for mine, but in the end couldn't justify spending over $8k on a set of wheels for a vehicle that was worth $33k-35k. The lack of aftermarket for this vehicle really is disappointing. I think a lot of vendors are missing the boat because most GCsrt8 owners are pretty rabid and willing to shell out for a product that will work. oh well...

I've got a guy for wheels. He can do Vellano's or Forgiato's at a pretty good price.

Thanks but it disparately needs to be lower before it'll look good with any wheels.

I'm with you on that one! I spoke to Eibach while at Sema in Vegas and they said they should have an option for us in the next few months.

Just lowering springs. I would prefer a coilover setup but will take whatever I can get for now.

BTW can you tell what purpose does the second shocks serve (yellow besides the coilover)?

Vincent, I have a buddy that had a GC SRT8 and modded it pretty extensively. PM me your contact info for the Cars and Coffee N.W. and I will put you in touch with him.

He is a car nut, pretty focused on Jeeps at the time.
