Agreed, normally, I would take a ZO6 or ZR1 over the Viper regardless, but this new incarnation looks to be very promising indeed.

the new ACR will indeed be a monster. i cant wait to see one on the track as long as people like this guy in the video doesnt own one

I heard the new ACR, with an additional 200lbs of roll cage, made it around Willow Springs 4 seconds faster than a new ZR1 mule. Not to mention it was a C6-R driver testing both, in hopes of proving the opposite.

I know the owner of the ACR, whos car was used in the track test....so I guess hearsay. Apparently, GM is being hush hush, and no video was released due to the outcome not being what they had hoped.
