427 Small Block

I have a friend who is has an early Chevy truck and wants to put a 427 small block in it. Does anyone know a place to get a deal on one?

Year one in Brasselton, Georgia. He can get a new LS7 in a crate for a bit over $13,000.

Saw one sitting on the show room floor there last week.
