Luke:

Congratulations!!! The Super Snake looks great!! I was thinking about going the GT500 route in Alloy Metallic and getting the Super Snake package. instead i bought a 2005 CL65...now your pic's have me rethinking the whole thing....

Anyway...enjoy your new ride...I am sure it must be fun.

Tom

I couldn't have said it better! I'll forever be a car enthusiast first and foremost.

Luke, love the Super Snake! It has such an aggressive stance to match its power. It's definitely a nice ride.

Isn't there a IRS kit for these cars. I remember reading somewhere that they dropped like almost 300lbs from the car with suspension and brakes and it pulled over 1g on the skid pad. I will try to find the thread

EDIT: It is still solid rear axle but dropped 294 lbs with wheels and suspension

Thumbs up

I think the Super Snake and the new GT500 KR will be two of the modern day muscle car collectibles. You're very lucky to have one.

Lucky you! I've been reading the "Shelby" magazine on this thing. Just don't wreck it! There's just one finishing touch for something like this: Carroll's name signed on your dash before he's pushing daisies!

I'm still having a hard time convincing my wife I could use just a "basic" Ford Shelby GT as a daily driver!
