i know thats why i want to know how fast it was going! it may also have looked faster because the camera was not following it down the road if you know what i mean. if i get a chance i will test it and have a friend go down the road at 55-60 mph and film straight ahead and i will dust him at some crazy speed and see if it looks different. maybe it makes a difference filming it that way.

It didn't look like 160 but im not going to argue it because it may have been. But, I think everyone doesn't think it because in the video the car is passed was going about 60MPH and according to him the vette was going about 200MPH so 200-60 is a 140MPH flyby. So, in theory, it should actually look like your going faster than him in your 160MPH flyby. Just saying-not doubting...

i still womder if it has anything to do with how it is filmed. my video looked slower because the camera turned with the car as it approached and passed. you can see on the in car video that the speedo is pegged at 160 mph. that vette unlesss highly modded has a top speed around 200.

Why are people doubting this video? I don't get it. Is everyone still confused about how fast it was going, or just confused about how a Vette can actually pass cars like that on the autobahn? sometimes this board makes me

people were doubting the speed of the flyby of the vid i posted as well so i am guessing they are questioning the speed. i think it has alot to do with the way the video was filmed.
