Added some Muscle to the garage - '69 Yenko Camaro (Rep)
Thanks a lot guys.. It gets more attention - by a long shot - than my Z06.
AJ - it's pretty nasty sounding, but I still think yours is louder
If I can get a plate on it, I'll bring it to the Cars & Coffee on Saturday.

You're right, but I'm planning on keeping it stock (plus, I just cruise w/her).
If I'm in the mood to fly, my Z06 is a far better choice.
I'll keep you in mind if I decide to take her in another direction.

Re C&C - Maybe.
I don't have a plate on her (still waiting for the title
)If I don't get her up to C&C this Saturday, I'll have it up there in August for sure.
Keep it stock??? Thats what they all say until the itch starts. You are a 6 Speed member how can you keep it stock? hehe J/K Drive that F-Body in good health!
Thanks guys
Yeah, the Yenko (or other hot rodded '69's, like Baldwin) was one of 'the' cars to have out of the Chevy lineup.
The only thing that really trumps a Yenko Camaro is the ZL-1. The ZL-1's were equipped w/ aluminum block/head 427 (COPO 9560) vs the iron block/head L72 (COPO 9561) that found it's way into the Yenko's. That saved quite a bit of weight and made the cars more agile for road racing. Almost no difference between the two in straight line quickness.
Concourse ZL1's can bring $1M+ due to their rarity: only 69 built. Original Yenko Camaro (< 200 built) prices seem to be all over the place - from $300k up.
Both out of my budget for a childhood memory.
