2001 Corvette Z51 coupe

What's a good time for these cars in basically stock form?

Is a 12.50ish a good time for it?

My '01 has a B&B Tri-flo exhaust and a vararam intake.

So far my best is a 12.48. Is that a good time for a otherwise stock car?

That is above average, most FRC's stock run around 13.00, so with your mods that time is great. What was your 60'?

60' was a 2.05 I believe, I don't have the slip near me right now. I'll check later.

It isn't an FRC, though, I wish it was.

Well since it's not a FRC that time is even better. With a little stickier tire and some practice a low 12 is in your future.

I think I must have gotten a "factory freak"

It runs like a scalded dog, thats for sure. Anyone got a C5Z that wants to race a basically stock coupe?

FRC stands for Fixed Roof Coupe.

and In 2001 that would have been a Z06.

I thought the non-FRC vettes (and non-Z06) were either targa top's or convertibles?

EDIT: whoa, this is post #13 in this thread, and my total post #666

Correct.

Regarding your post # and total post count.

A long time ago I went to see the NHRA races on 6/6 (if I remember correctly) at Route 66 and seat #66 or something like that. I wrote a Will before I went that day, thinking with that kind of luck a supercharger was going to fly off and hit me in the head. The only thing that hit me was small, smearing chunks of rubber. Funny stuff.

this kind of stuff always fascinates me

particularly the number 911... I can't count the amount of times when I randomly glance at a clock and see it, and all of the different things associated with it.
