Bone Stock Viper in the 10's?

Jamie, your turning into a damn legend.....quit driving the wheels off all of this amazing iron! Damn it's crazy how close the times are to a Z06, talk about a drivers race! What does your ACR run? They gotta get you some runs in a ZR-1, I bet your could crack mid 10's and run low 130's.

Thanks Matt and great pics! You would have to post my worst run of the day against the Z06 which happened to be one of his best! But hey let me give props to Mike, he was driving that Z06 and the cars are close to begin with and you have to be perfect to beat a Z and I wasn't on that run! Also wanted to give props to Ahmad for that 10.78 run in the Benz which was a record for no nitrous I believe, and to those GTR guys who busted off some 10's with minimal mods was impressive as well!

Ahmad's runs were very impressive, he could bracket race that beast.

The Z06 will run with anything, my ACR ran 11.07 at 130 mph in hotter weather, as all new Vipers have the same engine.
I haven't driven a ZR1 but I believe they are fast but mid 10's I don't believe, maybe a 10.8 or 10.9 something is possible in stock trim but nothing more.
As far as my GT I don't run it often, but last time out it ran 10.68 at 136 or 137 mph on the factory issued tires and just a pulley and tune. I was going to bring out the GT yesterday but at the last minute changed my mind. Its my GT that makes me think the ZR1 would be lucky to go 10.8's from the factory as my GT has a little over 700 crank hp with traps in the 136, 137 mph range. The ZR1 has 70 less hp and traps about 6 or 7 mph less than my GT which only ran a 10.68 so how could a ZR1 run close to the times of my GT?

Well with drag radials it might be possible 10.6's or 10.7's I think can be done with tires. I think the ZR1 would run similar to the Viper with tires as hp and weight are close but the Vettes gearing would give it a slight edge in my mind, stock to stock.

When I saw you outside the gates at MIR your trailer had ford GT on the side, I was hoping to see that beast run again.
