Great looking C6 my friend! I look forward to seeing what you do with it, and 414 rwhp is no joke with the very few mods you currently have. Sounds like a healthy beast to me!

I love how vettes are always under rated from the factory, a nice head cam will make some big power

Well it's a 2008 so first off it's not a LS2 its a LS3, so the nay-sayers are not refering to the same motors. Second LS3s make alot more power than LS2s. for example True bolt-on and cam LS3 can get real close to 500 rwhp which is about 15 rwhp more than a full H/C/I plus bolt on LS2. You factor in +/-5% for Dyno error and the numbers he quotes are legit.

My LS2 was 336 RWHP stock on a 400hp motor add another 30 rwhp for a stock LS3 you are at 366. Finally he had a halltech CAI on this car which would be plenty to get him to 398 rwhp.

Like I said I've been out of the whole corvette scene for awhile. I didn't realize it was a ls3 motor. My comments were based on the fact I thought this was a ls2 motor. What year did they offer the ls3 motors? I assume the new z06 did not get a boost in power same year? Still 505hp bench?

LOL, do some research bud.

With the mods you've got planned White, you'll be over 500 to the tire in an instant! Nice ride, sure to surprise a few cars on the TX streets...

I never understand people who post when their knowledge on the car is minimal. The OP has a great car, and the ls3 is a beast motor. The dyno is spot on. Congrats on the numbers and good luck with your future mods! Keep us posted!

You mean brake horse power, not bench.
