as of 2 weeks ago it was on again but as an 11 model, which means its still 10 months or so away from production. a lot can change in that time frame though.

Insiders are claiming an early 2011 release date. Hope you have patience. The current LS3 powered SS with a supercharger added can be had today.

Received this repy from GM Communications:

We don't actually have anything to share on a Z28. We have never confirmed plans for a Z28. We are focused on sustaining the success of the coupe right now, and are looking forward to the convertible going on sale in early 2011. As you can imagine, we are getting a great deal of feedback on a Z28 and are taking it all into consideration. Thanks for your note.

Correct. That guy basically said something completly opposite to what GM said on their own GMDealerworld site last week that I have access to at work. That doesn't make any sense. Sounds like their trying to keep it top secret.

Hmmm Z28 with LSA or just buy an SS and add the supercharger? Then again its fairly easy to take the LSA over 700 hp.

Warranty and collectability are my main points. I will drive this, not store it: However, it might be the last factory made HO Camaro we see.

That's Leno's twin turbocharged V6. Love the way it looks!
