ZR1 in the 9's!
That run was at a private track rental we did last Monday. LPE did an awesome job with that ZR-1 and it was definitely making good power.
One clarification, they did remove the factory cats while in the testing process but retained the factory exhaust manifolds and exhaust system. But once they finish their testing, I have no doubt they will produce similar results with the factory cats in place. They also had the trans rebuilt using the 2.66 1st gear from the Z06 in lieu of the 2.29 1st gear used in the ZR1.

Not really... I think large aftermarket gains with bolt on's are what we have come to expect from large displacement blown domestic V8's.
It certainly is impressive, but not amazing, the lightning, '03 Cobra, and Ford GT have already prepared us for this type of thing.
Love seeing it in the 9's... now to see where this thing goes with a cam and heads.

They were running VP MS109 during this run because they were testing a handful of changes and wanted that margin of safety.
That's stunning...
In the past I didn't appreciate Corvettes very much, but over time I had to correct my thoughts a lot....
In fact I have now big respect for these cars, and in general for American supercars, and even though I drive a Porsche 996TT, I will have an American muscle car in my garage one day, that's for sure.
Only problem is that here in Italy they want an awful amount of money for a Z06, not to mention the ZR1...
