ZR1 in the 9's!
ZR1 in the 9's!
America was made just a little greater after Lingenfelter modified the ZR1.
Here is what a bolt-on Zr1 is capable of with a good driver, BTW I know they made at least (3) 9 second passes that day. Enjoy.

The car ran a 145.74 mph trap speeds. The car also made 2 other 9 sec. runs earlier that day trapping 144 mph. The car has stock: heads, cam, exhaust system, clutch, rear end gear and transmission. The mods include:
- LPE 8.5” diameter harmonic balancer – 11 rib
- LPE 2.60” diameter supercharger pulley – 11 rib
- Lingenfelter S&B air filter
- 4” diameter air intake tube with mass air sensor
- Ported stock throttle body
- Intercooler supercharger inlet modifications
- Double capacity intercooler heat exchanger
- Larger capacity intercooler reservoir system
The car is putting out about 200 rwhp over stock power levels. Dynoed 739 rwhp/740 ft-lb rwtq.
Another plus is that it runs the stock cats and would pass emissions testing.

Where did you run that car in Houston without getting tossed off the tracks? or was it a Private Rental?
