Mustang Paint Question

I have a friend that has a 2 year Ford Mustang GT. He wants to do a few mods and recently purchased a new fiberglass hood. The painter wants to paint the hood and the front fenders. He says that will help the paint blend in.

Would painting the car's fender's de-value the car in anyway? I know when i have bought cars, I always ask, "Has it had any paintwork?" It seems the painter could paint the hood to blend into the car's original paint.

What color is it? Depending on the color the best result is going to come from blending into the fenders. Having said that, I wouldn't do it precisely for the reason you said. If I was going to buy that car I would assume the front had been smashed and who knows how much damage was done.
I say just paint the hood.

^^^ I agree...just the hood depending upon the color...the shop should be able to match it pretty well.

repainting parts of the car will def devalue the car in years to come but thats the price you pay for swapping out hoods.. Is the paint faded at all? If the car is low mileage, garaged most of the time I would bet that does not have to have the tops of the fenders blended in

The color of the car is gonna be the key and if the paint was taken care of. I wouldn't want the fenders painted myself.
