Help with value on a car I have? 1972 Pontiac Lemans Convert

Year: 1972
Make: Pontiac
Model: LeMans
Color: tan
Location (Region): NorthEast

I will be trying to sell my in-laws car for them as there was a passing in the family... Located in CT

This is a 1971 Pontiac Lemans Convert... I believe 2 owner car, they have owned for 20 years + I believe... driven once a month, garage kept, but over past year driven even less, not at all in past 6 months, (elderly) battery dead, just been sitting in garage. Interior for year and miles seems like good to very good shape...Body fair to good, some scratches and some light rust spots but nothing major. car never driven in rain nor winter etc..

anyone have any idea at all on value and ballpark asking price?

Any thoughts on what this car maybe worth? Needs a tune up, a jump, light body work for couple scratches and some minor surface rust (minor in 1 area quarter size etc) couple dings, maybe tiny dent when rubbed garage side pulling it in one day but really nothing major etc..

any input welcomed... Thanks all.

Should be able to get 5-8k~ for it depending on how much work it really needs. If it's a 455ci it should bring in a little more.

did you ever sell this car? I may be interested if not, and I'm located in CT now so could make it easy for both of us
