I'm 'hotrod' deficient at the moment. But have been doing a lot of work on TT Vipers for a pretty well known builder. Hence my even further respect for John.
How are you involved in the industry?? Do you have a shop?

I added a picture of where the car is right now. If you check out the pro-touring.com link I have at the beginning of this thread you can follow the build from start to where we are now.

Update 7-25

Here is a couple of pics of the car as it stands. This thing went from just a restoration to a full all out custom car that you will be able to punish. Incredible level of fabrication and attention to detail. Theres some camaro parts mixed in there but they have been chopped up so much that you really cant say its a nova with camaro bumpers. If I told everyone on the small things that had to be done to get it to this point, it would take hours! The rear end took about 2 months to complete. I would say maybe 400 hrs.

lets revive this...the car is on the ground at rad rides.

Here are some pics taken last week at the shop. You can also check out www.radrides.com and check out the nova on the projects page.

Thumbs up Stance

Yes, they are known for getting the cars to the perfect stance. This thing really is on the ground. Realistically the front will be about 1inch higher off of the ground which should be even better overall. The motor also is sitting much lower in the car so that the stock hood could be used. We didn't want to do a big cowl hood on it.

Rad Rods by Troy has a build book out about how they built the Sick Fish Cuda for Joe Rogan. The way they get the stance right is absolutely amazing. It's worth the cover price just to see how they do it.

That tucked bumper and Camaro type valance just look perfect! Amazing.

Notorious nova

That tucked bumper and Camaro type valance just look perfect! Amazing.
Theres probably at least 350 hrs into that front end. The Camaro bumper has been cut up quite a bit to get that fit. Notice how the body fits around the ends of the bumper. Most stocker muscle cars have the bumpers hanging way out on the ends with a 1/2" gap between the body. Also the front end camaro valance has the same story. Cut in half, material added and taken away for the perfect fit. I especially love the front lower lip, it looks sinister!

Thanks for the comments!

Derek:
That bumper work is great! It will definetly get a lot of double-takes when people realize it's not sticking out like the stock unit! Can't wait to see paint on it.
