A Z06 conversion is as follows:

Body - $8K
Wheels/Tires - $4K
Brakes - Close enough unless you track the car
Shocks - $1K
Sways - $1K
Blower - $8K
------------------
Approx. Upgrade Costs - $22K
Appox. Cost of C6 Z51 - $45K
Approx. Total of your WBZ - $67K
Approx. Cost of a Z - $77k loaded

Current market place is @ $2500 under MSRP, some people have got up to $4,000 off.

Not exactly what I paid... I hate that I have car ADD and have a severe lack of comprehension of overspending...

Right, but is yours an 07 meaning that you paid for the price hike in MSRP + whatever the dealer decided to gouge on?

The MSRP was 65k for the 06's if you could get it at that.

Had it still been that for the 07's i would have one in my driveway right now, i am struggling psychologically to spend close to 80k for a Z06 including CA tax over the C6.

That's why the P-cars are now on my debate list! I'm holding off until the end of the summer as i am loving the convertible right now, but we'll see.
