Ford GT motor tested on an engine dyno
From the Ford GT forum:

I'm glad I haven't dumped any money into mine yet. Can't wait to see the results.
Here is a shot of the GT motor on an engine Dyno. Though you might enjoy a peek. There will be a full article in MMFF's next issue. The motor was run stock to start. You will notice the stock muffler in the back. The pipes had to be a tad longer to adapt it to the rig. The coil packs are for testing under higher boost conditions. The motor is tested in several variations over the 7 days. The software used to power the motor on the dyno, I believe was Motec. So think of the stock run as a car with a good tune only. Accufab did the tests.
Was the motor from Ford over or under rated?....I think we all figured it was underrated. I know this is a tease. But anyone want to start a pool for the stock run?
