Suspension
Hello,
Do you guys think it's worth the extra $ to get a bilstein/techart coilover setup versus just replacing the springs, which obviously cost a small fraction of the c/o's.
Also, will there be any long term damages or side effects if im just replacing the springs (putting the extra strain on the shocks)?
My main goal is to lower the ride height, w/o compromising the car's handling performance.
TIA!

It depends on you the driver and what your going for and how long your going to keep it. Springs will realistically be more than enough for most. They may compromise suspension life though.
Depends what you want. More compliant ride and predictable and engineered handling, or quick and inexpensive way to lower and get decent handling? Either way is fine, but coilovers are better overall when you ignore the price.
