GT3 Rolled at Motorsport Ranch

I heard through a friend that at GT3 rolled 5 or 6 times at Motorsport Ranch on Sunday. Does anyone know anything about this incident? Was the driver alright? I would like to know what happened (machanical or driver error).

yes it was on Sunday. My fiancee owns a scrapbooking company and the owner of the printing press she has all her work done rolled his GT3. It had about $15k in upgrades on it too. There's a vid on youtube under "GT3 Tumble".
He hit the grass, overcorrected and, well, the rest is history. If it was a Vette he'd be dead.

It's wierd watching that video because that car cost more than my first house...

1. Do a search for "GT3 tumble" on You Tube there is nothing there.
2. You didn't state he posted the video himself therefore anyone spreading **** rumors could of posted it.
3. If someone was going to buy this car and was unawares about the incident it would be worth mentioning. Otherwise if he is in a tangle with insurance people he may not want the world offering there 2nd hand opinion on what happened all over the internet, especially when an unknown person with only 1 post on here has been inquiring about the incident.

Use your head once in your life.

Thanks.

I think the rollbar and harnesses had some influence to his survival.

Erm...vettes aren't exactly unsafe in general. Anyone tracking a vette probably has harnesses at the least if not some scaffolding.

The car burst into flames after the crash (2 rolls and a 2 flips) sooooo I doubt he's going to Maaco have it repainted and throw it up on ebay. Plus I would think that people on this board would have the integrity to disclose things like wrecks prior to sales. Maybe not you but probably most people here.

I am not going to get into a full blown argument here, this all I'll say on the matter. But if you, just reread what you quoted me saying, I said it should be disclosed if a potential buyer on here asking about it. And of course if it came up for sale.
But the details of the incident should kept quiet otherwise, until he has settled with insurance in case they are trying to withhold payout pending an inquiry as to whether it was driver error.
Especially in a thread started by Mr. Drift-Sport up there who has 1 post and not posted since. Does that not seem the slightest bit suspicious to you?

And I take it you have the owners full consent to blab your mouth of about him and his car to the world. Why not post pictures too. By the sounds of it you weren't even there.

Goodnight!

Goodmorning!!
Next time before you open your mouth and looks silly just pm me. Really.
Anyone with half a decent insurance company like he did would have a check the next day. Are you cutting corners and can't afford the best? Its ok if you are but don't comment on the A+ insurance world if you aren't in it.

90% of A+ insurance companies don't cover "track" ... Your inability to see an insurance agents detective work on a forum and your master ability to spread your knowledge of OTHER peoples business makes your intelligence level below average. And let me tell you, the average person is FU%&ING stupid.
