My 08 TT has only 1,100 miles on it and has already been in for 2 major problems. The first time the on board computer malfunctioned and the tech found it had a defective alternator and had to replace it.
Now it's in because of erratic clutch action and the slave cylinder and accumulator have been ordered to be replaced.
I hope it wasn't built during Octoberfest! Pretty annoying for a $140,000 car.

These are unfortunate and not very common inconveniences BUT you are still ok .
An oil leak would be more serious based on some of the posts written in this forum.

 

Wow. 2 unrelated systems, with a hair over 1000 miles. I hope things turn around for you.

 

yeah i'd be bent out of shape if I were you... sorry and hopefully this will be the last unscheduled trip for a long while...

 

I think I rather have two unrelated system go bad than one system go bad twice. First situation just means that the car was built during Octoberfest and the second situation tells me either that system wasn't designed right or they can't fix the darn thing and "I wonder when they will be able to fix it."
