I'm thinking of getting an 05 E55 to replace my Audi S8 but I want to at least have LSD to maximize traction especially for North East winters. I would put winter tires on it like I do on the Audi but without LSD traction would be pretty bad. I know it's available in Europe but it's not on the option list here and my dealer doesn't know. Anyone know if it's available here.

 

They already have an LSD, but aftermarket LSDs are available which provide more lockup during acceleration to help with wheel spin.
