Cleaning advice for a cab...

...and I am not talking about a taxi
I looked for similar posts, but could not locate them, so sorry in advance if I make you post the same answers again
I was in such a rush to drive my car, that I forgot to ask the factory what was the best way to clean it.
My car will be parked outside for the next 6 months, so I will probably need to clean it more often.
Car wash is definitely out, and I am worried that a sponge could scratch the finish.
You all have a great deal of detailing experience and care very much about your cars, so I welcome your advice.
Happy motoring to all

I am real bad when it comes to this.
I go to a local auto car wash chain that only seams reputable to me based on the number of locations and the fact that higher end cars are washed there on a daily basis.
I always check the clearance for the front end and the width of the rails before I wash at a new car wash location.
"Waterway" Saint Louis.
Just ok but I don't have time to clean the car myself.
And, also just lazy.

I am not sure how bad this might be for my soft top.

Maybe I have to much time on my hands but I enjoy spending the day detailing the Turbo and/or RS. But I only drive on the weekends and they never get that dirty.

Keeping your cab clean is actually very simple if you have the right tools and technique. You shouldn't be afraid to wash your car. If you have the correct wash mitt, soap, and drying cloths, you won't damge anything. No one is going to do a better job than you Let me know how much time you'd like to spend caring for your new cab and I can recommend a routine and product list.
